Monarchy replaces Republic in historic referendum.

On November 12, New Pugnasian citizens went to the polls in a historic referendum. The question was: What should New Pugnasia's government classification be? At about 8:00 pm on the same day it was announced that New Pugnasia will be a constitutional monarchy and President Josef will be crowned king once the Provisional Phase is over. Josef supporters around New Pugnasia celebrated the creation of the monarchy. "This day will be remembered as the start of the Golden Age of New Pugnasia!" says Josef supporter, Mr. Penguinreich. A coronation date will be announced after the new constitution is written.
